Abortion

Today I’m going to talk about abortion. In my opinion abortion should be legal for all women in every circumstance. Of course the priority are those women who have trouble in their pregnancy (she would die and/or the foetus will die anyway) and those who has been rapped, but eventually every women should have the option. It’s not fear that we force a woman to be a mother; it’s not healthy, neither for the mom nor for the baby.
The second important thing about this subject is when do we consider a baby (or a foetus) a legal person with all rights? Probably we’ll never get to an agreement, but in my opinion there are a very important distinction between embryo and foetus, I think when the embryo becomes a foetus is when it starts to be a human instead of a group of cells or a potential person, and that happens around the third month. After that it’s more complicated because that foetus can actually feel everything, he or she has all their organs in functioning and is only growing and maturing. Either way, in cases of need (in case of the possible death of the mother or the baby), I think, it doesn´t matter how many month has the foetus. If it’s an emergency, it’s have to be solved.
The third and last point it is the religion. I’m not religious, and I think the religion is interesting to study, and I respect it, but I don’t think that religion has to immerse in this debate. In my opinion religions are a way of control and a form of intent to understand things that are away of your control and knowledge, and if we see history, only cause wars, pain and suffer.

Being Green

Actually I don't know much about environmentally friendly practices, that's because in my school didn't promote this kind of practices, I mean, they tried, but just with little campaigns that didn't really help in the day life. The thing is that I really like all this ecologist kind of life, I believe is the correct way to live in balance with the earth, but I don't practice. Why? because is difficult, it take time, and mostly it's expensive. I wish I could use the bike everyday, but I'm from a little city so I'm not used to the number of cars there are in Santiago, so my mom is scared that somebody hit me.

Someday, when I work I would like to be part of an organization, but till then I will be supported campaigns, some bigger than others. I think the organization is important for everything if we have a common purpose; and for ecologist that's really necessary because our planet need, in first place that every human being have in their conscience that everything we did until now it's hurting our planet, and in second place that the government have commitment with the cause, and we need organization for that.

Lately my mom had like an ecologist madness and she want to buy a compost to recycle organic waste, but she didn't do it yet. I hope she can do it soon.
I think Santiago needs to calm down for a moment, stop, stop of been hurried, stop running, stop the madness angry, because when we do that, we'll can take our bikes and go to our school, university and work peacefully, slow and happy. We have to stop seen this ecologist thing as a waste of time because we live relatively good. We have to look to the future, because soon or later all this will have consequences.

Art

In my life I've visited many art museums, principally because my mom is very fond of painting, especially the classic ones. I was interested too, but for different reasons, I was obsessed with knowing things, and I considered (until today) that art is important as a part of the history and as form of expression, so for me, know about art was quite important. My favorite forms of art are sculptures and photography, so if I can, I mix them taking photos of sculptures jajajajajajajaja

Well I’m not really an artistic person, maybe because I’m more a thinker than a sensitive person jajajaja but I think there is one thing that I’m really good at, and is draw. I love to draw, but I draw in comic style and seeing a prototype, I mean, I usually look at an image (it doesn't matter the size) and I draw it identical. In any case, I've never participated in an art competition and I never want to.

I believe everything can be art if it’s expressing something, the beauty is important in art, and I enjoy it (I’m a fond of beauty) but that’s not the thing that makes something become in art. Nothing that expressed something or make people think can be considered vandalism, to me, that’s art. Graffiti is art, street band are art, music is art, etc. Probably the only thing that I can’t stand it is creations made of human parts, and that’s a very personal opinion. In first place, I think it’s creepy, and in second place, unless there been donated body parts, it’s not right that somebody used them. Art is a metaphor so I don’t think it has to be so explicit.

My Future Job

[esqueleto.jpg]

Well, the kind of job that I want is one where I can help in something, I mean, not working just for money. It’s important to know that I want to be a Biological Anthropologist, and at the moment I’m not sure if I’ll work with monkeys, with death people or with the living ones. I believe, it would be outdoors and indoors depending of what I doing in that moment, but I really expect that my job make me travel as much as possible hahahahah

If I work with death people, I want to work for the Medico Legal Institution in the recognition of the bodies to return them to their families. If I work with people that it’s actually live, I want to work for a public institution and create public policies to help in the health area. And if I work with monkeys, I want to hug them and give them my love <3 hahahahah (I love monkeys).

I don´t really care much about where I work as long as I do it for the right reason, but I think, I prefer to work for a public institution or for a university, because the big companies always respond only for their own proposes. And I think that depending of what I choose for living I’ll take a mayor in that specialty, but I have time to make a decision, I suppose.

When I Close my Eyes

Well, I am a Dreamer, and probably I’ll always be.

For me, dreams are an expressions of our wishes and frustrations. I really don’t remember all of my dreams but the few one I remember it’s always like a action movie, and I’m always running, or escaping from something or somebody. It’s very intense hahahaha I think that's because I’m doing something wrong in my life or that I’m avoiding something, the problem is that I don’t know that it is.

I'm always daydreaming hahaha And I don’t think is a bad thing, I believe it’s healthy, but I worry that those dreams remains as a dreams. I have silly dreams like, I don’t know, be able to dance, sing, or make an speech in front of people, that I don’t think is the most important thing in my life, but I also have huge dreams, like change the world hahahahaha I think that It’s a typical dream but I need to see some change before I die or I’ll be very unhappy. And I’ll try and try, and I don’t care that the people tell me that it’s impossible, that I won’t make the difference, but I think that worst is nothing. And If I had money or some kind of power, I would do anything that I could to make things right for all the people :) (and I'd probably die)

“You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, And the world will live as one.” J. Lennon

My Best Holiday

My best holidays were when I travel to the south with my Friends. We travel for ten days during january, so the weather was amazing. We went through Puerto Varas and Chiloé, and we even arrived to Cucao, a Little town near the Pacific Ocean (in Chiloé).

When we were at Punta Arenas we stayed in a kind a cottage, but it was more like a castle. There, we're very comfortable and spent the day walking around and lying on the floor. But then, a couple of days after, we had to move to Chiloé and started to camping, it was fun, but definitely we wasn't prepared for that. We didn't even take the kitchenette with us.

We passed through a lot of funny things, for example, in our first day in Chiloé, we walked kilometres with our huge rucksacks because one person told us that the camping was near, "a couple of kilometres", but actually, it was a little bit more than that. Another funny thing happened when we were in Cucao. That night started to rain and we thought that with the proteccion that we put it, it would be enough, but it wasn't. We woke up at 4 a.m completely wet! Actually it was a little tragic, but when I think about it now it's always funny.

I think that it was my best holiday because I felt it like a real holiday hahaha I'm used to travel to a lot of places and touristing all the time, but I never really rest or relax. That's the kind of holidays in my family, and I really love to do that, but it's nice to do something different.

My Childhood.

Since my dad is a dentist, I had a very particular childhood when it comes to food and smells, I didn't have the typical childhood full of candy, in fact I couldn't eat sweets or chocolates or biscuits or anything like that. So, I maybe broccoli and its smell would be representative of those years.

My first childhood memory was when I had almost 3 years and my mom was pregnant, my grandmother and I had a surprise for my mom's birthday, and the surprise was a doll. In that time we were living in a house with a very narrow stair, so when we wanted to give her the present, and go down through the stair, we fell down and hit our heads. My pregnant mom had to rescue us hahahaha.

I learned to swim and ride a bicycle when I was five years old. I learned to swim in a friend's house with a guy (some kind of teacher) that I called "Feo", because my mom think that I MUST know how to swim in case of emergency. I learned to ride a bike in my condominium with my dad as a teacher, it was fun.

I believe I had a really great childhood :)

A Magic Country

One of my favourite things in the whole world -besides to know other cultures and history places- is be relax and sleep a lot, but also I love to hang out and go to parties. That’s why I would love to visit Brazil. There, at day, I could go to beach, swim, rest, and look at the amazing landscapes. And at night I could go to clubs or go to dancing in the streets.

Brazil is a country of Latin-America with tropical weather and very nice and cheerful people. In this country is very common see people with tiny clothes or in swimming suit. Also, at night, in some cities or towns, celebrates small parties at the street with people dancing around. In this country there are, also, a lot of tropical animal, which ones are very colourful and weird.

But even though I always love this green country, I'll go only in plan of vacations, because I think that maybe it'll lost the "shine" for me. It like when someone lives at the beach, those people don't go every day at the beach so desperately during the holidays as the people who live in Santiago or in any city without beach.
